The SFMTA and San Francisco Beautiful's Muni Art Project 2021, in collaboration with The Poetry Society of America, showcases the talents of local artists and poets, enriching the daily journeys of public transport riders with a blend of art and poetry.

Thom Gunn’s poem, “The Night Piece,” served as the guiding inspiration for my submission to this open call for artists. This self-initiated project provided an opportunity to delve into two of my favorite methods of visual storytelling: collage and open narrative.
